Baba Ramdas Swami

The Amnanda treatment was passed on to us from the man in the above photo. Baba was a Tibetan monk and a highly accomplished Ayurvedic doctor. He lived to be well over 100 years old and treated patients on a daily basis right up to the time of his death.

Amnanda was developed through an Ayurvedic lineage that goes right back to the time of the Buddha. In his lifetime, Baba was the lineage holder and as such he inherited knowledge that had been passed down throughout the time of the lineage. The Amnanda treatment is about 300 years old and was developed using a series of experiments with herbs and oils over time, all aimed at producing a specific result – the relief of trauma and stress and a rejuvenation of the individual.

The treatment wasn’t available in the west until it came to practitioners in Germany around ten to fifteen years ago, through the Indian doctor who now holds the lineage that Baba held. Since then, it has been extensively used throughout Europe and is now making its presence felt in the UK.
